Externally, the AV4 Carbine is full metal. The 13” handguard has slots allowing for the installation of MLOK accessories on the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. On top is a continuous Picatinny rail with flip-up sights included. A retractable Crane-style stock with Deans/T-Plug wiring has room for a buffer tube or nunchuck battery.

Internally, the AV4 has a 9mm bearing gearbox with bearing spring guide, all driven by a 23K high torque neodymium magnet motor. The ECS trigger system allows for user programming of firing modes, and offers low battery detection and gearbox health monitoring. The rotary-style hop-up chamber and 6.03mm inner barrel gives high accuracy and consistency shot-to-shot.
